Gilt-decorated parchment, all edges uncut; spines very lightly sunned; minor bumps to two volumes (the head of the spine and the two bottom corners of the Apocrypha, and the foot of the rear hinge and the corners of the second volume of the Bible); overall an excellent (even exceptional) set of an impressive work let down by the choice of binding material.
