Founder of the Junkers Flugzeug- und Motorenwerke AG, German aircraft designer and engineer Hugo Junkers (1859-1935) was instrumental in establishing the common use of multi-engined all-metal aircraft, particularly the Ju-52, with national and international airlines. Junkers' name is associated with German WW2 aircraft, although the man himself was forced out of the company in 1934. Text in German.
